For over 35 years, James Hall has devoted his career to intercollegiate student-athletes as an executive senior administrator and now Associate Director of the Student Success Center. He has impacted over 5,000 lives—from Iowa State University and The Ohio State University to New Mexico State University. James transformed from an “Athlete-Student” (25th percentile high school rank, ACT composite 11) into a champion through mentorship. At Iowa State, he became a top 800-meter sprinter, Four-Time Big 8 Champion, Team Captain, and Leadership Award recipient. He claimed his greatest victories with a bachelor’s in Speech Communication (1992) and master’s in Higher Education (1995). Today, his success stories abound—former students credit him for opening athletic and career doors, embodying M1’s mission to convert talent into lasting enterprise leadership.

LeCharles Bentley is a former Ohio State Buckeyes standout and NFL Pro Bowl center who played six professional seasons with the New Orleans Saints (2002-2005) and Cleveland Browns, earning consensus All-American honors, the Dave Rimington Trophy as the nation’s top center, and two Pro Bowl selections.
Since April 2021, he has served as the NFL’s Senior Advisor of Player Performance and Development, partnering with Executive Vice President Troy Vincent to advance performance metrics, best practices, and international training at the UK Academy. Recently, the New Orleans Saints hired Bentley as a consultant on personnel and player performance, leveraging his expertise to elevate their roster strategy.
Bentley drives the NFL Way to Play initiative, promoting safer techniques and culture change through 100+ educational videos, youth/high school clinics, and position-specific drills. Through his AMDG Sports agency, he represents elite athletes while providing performance optimization and career transition guidance. A certified expert in strength & conditioning, sports nutrition, FMS, Fascial Stretch Therapy, and Olympic weightlifting, he also leads Nike’s offensive line performance coaching and founded the world’s first brick-and-mortar O-line training center with patented equipment.

Shawn Springs is a former Ohio State Buckeyes All-American cornerback and 13-year NFL veteran, selected third overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1997 NFL Draft. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 1998 while also starring for the Washington Redskins and New England Patriots, amassing 32 interceptions, 450+ tackles, and a reputation as one of the league’s elite cover corners across his distinguished career.
In 2002, Springs partnered with James Hall, the Majority of One Program, and The Ohio State University Department of Athletics to launch the “Shawn Springs ‘Majority of One’ Post-Graduate Scholarship”—personally contributing $100,000 to empower minority student-athletes through education and life transition, embodying M1’s core mission of converting talent into lasting enterprise leadership.
Today, as CEO of Windpact, Springs drives innovation at the intersection of technology, data, and manufacturing. His team delivers advanced engineering services, AI-powered software, and 3D printing solutions that solve complex design challenges for Fortune 500 clients, scaling prototypes to production at unprecedented speed and precision. Springs’s journey—from gridiron dominance to C-suite innovation—exemplifies the athlete-to-ownership transformation at the heart of M1’s ecosystem.
